This moodboard is an illustration of the group's initial feelings about the thriller genre, for example at the bottom left hand side of the mood board there is a picture of an isolated house. We have discussed our location and we've managed to find an isolated deserted house. This is perfect for our thriller. This image is good as it symbolises isolation and insecurity. Two main factors which are important in a good thriller. In the top hand left corner of the mood board there is a picture of a girl in a window, this suggests she's possessed or dangerous in some way. This is important to our thriller as we are having 2 possessed sisters who had been killed in the house in the 1850's. Who now haunt who ever dares enter there house. Therefore, this picture fits well with our theme. We also have a picture of a girl in the middle of the moodboard. She is on her hands and knees which suggests she is scared, this is exactly how we want all intruders to look and feel in our thriller. Also she's dirty and has blood stains on her which helps develop our idea's of how the 2 possessed sisters can look. In the middle of the moodboard on the left hand side we have an image from the strangers. The composition of the two characters is important as the antagonist is in power as she's standing up and is after the protagonist. Whereas the hero is on the floor and is trying to get away, this suggests danger inferior and tension, which is exactly what we intend to do in our thriller. We've also included the term 'why so serious?' from The Dark Knight. This is relevant to our ideas as we are looking to include a poem or riddle which will result in the taking of one of protagonists. We've also gathered images of eyes, this is important to us as we'd definitely like to include a close up of the girl/girls eyes representing death and danger and to show visually that they're possessed.
